Warmed Apple & Chia pudding



250 ml (1 Cup) almond milk
1-2 tsp maple syrup
3 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp each of cinnamon and cardamon
pinch of ground ginger

Cinnamon apples

1 apple, peeled and diced
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Almond butter and pecans for serving


Start by cooking the apples.
Add the apples and cinnamon to a small pot with a good splash of water. Simmer for a few minutes until the apples start to soften, add more water as necessary.

At the end, add the maple syrup and stir to coat. Remove from heat and reserve until serving.

Meanwhile, make the chia pudding by combining all the ingredients in a small pot and bring to a simmer while stirring. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring often. 

Top the chia pudding with the apples, chopped pecans and almond butter.
